Started a new project.NfHv2tvDD26rSnoJPErsg5c9.jpeguigtyfyi5668kl_01-1100x1100.jpg498.jpgIMG_20200731_185949.jpgIMG_20200731_190003.jpgIMG_20200731_190022.jpg58019.970.jpgof the first line of the Russian black sea fleet. One of the five ships of the same type that were built at the Kherson shipyard. The construction will be long. The drawings of the paper model of the firm "Paper modeling" are taken as a basis"The patterns were on a scale of 1: 100.Zoomed in to the 1:72 scale.Drank all the frames, keel, longitudinal connections.

Mr Deep. Your rigging plans look great. I was wondering about plans for frames in case of a Plank on Frame build?
Hello Heinrich, I don't believe these are actual plans (the way we usually treated as plans). This is the paper model book from Ukrainian manufacturer Bumazhnoe Modelirovanie (Paper Modeling). They have many different models i.g. ships, planes, buildings. Mr. Deep uses the paper bulkhead templates, trace them to plywood. Check their website. It operates in many languages, so it will not be a problem to read.

Thank you Jimsky. I am just curious - as you know, apart from the Batavia, there is a leudo waiting. :)

Sharpened all the frames. Collected everything on dry land. The plywood was of poor quality. Fitted the billets of the quarterdeck and poop decks. Now you need to make bevels on the frames. Then everything is spilled well with glue.IMG_20200820_183139.jpgIMG_20200820_183249.jpgIMG_20200820_183258.jpgIMG_20200820_183315.jpgIMG_20200820_183329.jpgIMG_20200820_183347.jpg

Now it will go faster.Came plywood 1.5 mm. to the main deck and the bridge of the quarter-deck.I also bought a very necessary grinding machine. It has both a ribbon and a circle on it.I've already tried it out.It is very convenient to set the desired angle of the table, to sharpen the frames at an angle.IMG_20200827_161449.jpgIMG_20200827_161455.jpgIMG_20200827_161544.jpgIMG_20200827_161449.jpgIMG_20200827_161455.jpgIMG_20200827_161544.jpgIMG_20200827_162000.jpgIMG_20200827_162007.jpgIMG_20200827_162027.jpg

Glue the first layer of skin. Material Linden wood 5x2 mm Preparing for painting fake carriages for closed decks. I'll stick them in and continue the trim. You also need to pre-arrange the aft balcony inside, and the bulkhead under the quarterdeck deck.IMG_20201101_085841.jpgIMG_20201031_214318.jpgIMG_20201031_214231.jpgIMG_20201029_162634.jpgIMG_20201029_162614.jpg

a good start of the planking work - but the more complicated areas are still in front of you
- crossing the fingers, but I am pretty sure, that it will work
