The Real Andrea Gail

Thank you for your review and kid words! This was my first purchase from Billings. It was a very good kit. If you have never done a plank on frame build you will find it challenging. Good luck!
 
Loved the thread, this build is fantastic. The accuracy is pretty much spot-on the only real difference is the size. Your masting, boom, and outriggers are spot-on as well as the setting-out house near the transom.

I'm sure you've probably come across these yourself, but since I saw you have an interest in the Andrea Gail like I do, I thought I'd share all my available photos of the vessel, including these rare high-def pictures (sourced from the daughter of an old photographer who was in Marblehead the year before the storm).
