Titanic kits

Both of the kits that you are asking about build planked wooden hulls. (They are POB kits.) Titanic’s hull was built from overlapping steel plates joined by riveting. So, if your goal is to build an accurate model, once you have planked the hull you will have to hide this planking by either plating it (plating material not included in kit) or by buttering with your favorite goop.

In this case, I agree with Brian. The Trumpeter plastic kit will build a more accurate model with less hassle.

First, it's sad to see that the two answers you got are not answers to your question.
Unfortunately, it's common on this forum.

Unfortunately, I have no experience with the kits you're asking about, but if you search on Google for example, amati occre titanic, you'll find information.

You can also search on youtube to see the contents of the kits and also what they might look like when built.

If I were to buy one of them, it would be Occre, mostly because it's significantly cheaper and seems detailed enough for my taste. It's also a little smaller than Amatis, fits in a bookshelf that's about 100 cm.

One more thing, if you buy the Amati kit, make sure you get the updated one.
There is a big difference between it and the one Amati had before.
