Hello Everyone,
To introduce myself, my name is Kareen, I'm 43 and I am from Canada. I am a beginner in making models, which I built from scratch, starting with a Bread and Butter solid hull. My first attempt was to do the Titanic's lifeboat, but I scraped the solid hull. Then, I bought the monographs of Gérard Delacroix "La chaloupe Armée en Guerre 1834" and with the advices of the author, I'm almost done with the B and B solid hull, and soon I will beginning the frames and the actual hull of the boat.

Hallo Kareen,

also from my side a warm welcome here on board of our friendly forum. You will enjoy it here.
I have also the small planset of the gunboat from Gerard in my shelf, very interesting subject and not often built.
It would be great if you could start a building log in the scratch built area so we can see your work - a very interesting project and I am looking forward to see it.
