A research paper, well illustrated presents findings from the Tantura Logoon, Idrael, from a 9th C AD wreck and others, for wood toggles as well as ropes rarely recovered. The use of toggles related to temporary securement of lines and sheets to clews opens the mind for inclusion in models of adequate size and quest for inclusion of detail.
