I was curious about the lighting in the large titanic model. I want to light the hull as well but my power supply l want is a 9v1a transformer. The Titanic light kit appears to be 5volt battery of some sort. Not for me. I know l can adapt any LED from the kit to 9v with the right resistor. My question concerns the light strip that came with the kit. How does one adapt that light strip (with pre installed resistors) to handle the 9 volts? Would a resistor be needed at the head of the strip to adapt it so it would not burn out? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Thanks

Happy Birthday !
I'm sorry I didn't see this before. Did you get the LED lighting worked out?
I would say rather than trying to work out the 9V transformer, get a USB charger for a phone. The output of the USB plug is 5V.
