Hello.USS Constellation, I have finished the placement of the posts and the upper deck coating. I have sanded the lower posts but I could not find the reason for the gap seen in the pictures. The slat does not fit properly... I need advice from masters who can help.

The build looks good so far. It looks like you need to bevel the edges of the bulkheads more. The first and second pictures show a lot of char on the edge of the bulkhead still. If they need to be beveled, the angle should be across the entire edge. But, wait to see what others have to say before you just take my word for it. :) There are many on here that are much more knowledgeable than I am. If after you do that you still have a gap, you may need to add some material to the edges of the bulkheads to build them up.

Dear Master, I am grateful for the useful information you have given... I will try to apply it this evening (from Türkiye time). I will send the result from my diary.

I concur with Corsair's assessment. In particular, bulkhead 4 seems to need a lot of work. Also, the other bulkheads could stand to get evened up close to the false keel.

In my limited experience, fairing bulkheads seems to be a never-ending task. Once you think you've taken off enough, there's still more to do. Endless iterations of sand--check--more sanding--re-check. But the time spent will be frustration saved when the planking starts.
