USS Constitution Blue jacket kit # 1018

I am building this model for a friend that got it from an Uncle that passed away in 2008. The "kit" is missing better than 2/3rd's of it parts. Nothing from the kit will be used except the hull. So, what? 90% of it will be scratch built. The stern of the solid hull was not correct so I had to do some building up. This is NOT an attempt to plank the hull!

Constitution's Spar deck is pretty much done. The ship's wheel will go in much later after the rigging is done. I always end up breaking it otherwise. Fighting tops still need work lower masts are done.
