I’ve finished my Confederacy (will post photos in separate thread). I’m turning my attention to my Constitution model. As I open the model’s box I’m reminded how wanting the kit’s instructions are. Fortunately I have Bob Hunt’s practicum. It was pricey but worth the cost. I completed the hull and was starting the copper plate process. I had also started putting “rivets” in bulwarks. Both processes are tedious and time consuming and have to done in small chunks.
I have an issue with the embossed plate I bought - they’re 1/64 scale and the model is 5/32. I assume I could use the ones I bought and perhaps no one would notice the difference. But i would so I’m going the get 5/32 embossed plates.
