Hi David, hull and accommodation looks ok. But for sure will need for works as well. All the other deck items will need replacement, as at that time I made them with all the thinks that I had around.

If I may chime in, I'm in the planning stages for some serious detailing of the Academy 1/350 kit as USS Simpson (FFG-56) in 1988. The plan is to display it nose to nose with the USS Constitution (yet to be built). Anyway, my goal is to show an open hangar bay (port side) with a chopper on deck outside as well as opening the bridge, RAST, and landing control booth windows and adding interior details. To that end, I have started my own drawings based on a deck plan and a lot of photos from Navsource.net, Seaforces.org and Navysite.de. I've attached the work I've done so far for the hangar bay, if anyone is interested, and will update this thread as time goes on with new bay drawings as well as details for the other areas mentioned. Oh, and I'll send pics of the assemblies as I work on them.
I am jumping on this ship at quite a late stage looking at all the comms before my post. Well, it looks like an impressive undertaking. I would love to follow as you go along. I have one of this Academy kits in my stash. I do find what I read here quite inspiring to return from painting figures to building some sips and boats. Let's see how your process unfolds.

If it is not too presumptous of me to ask, but do you have a copy of the ORP Kosciuszko blueprints from the book, that you shared in your first post?
I am currently living in the country, where they do not deliver the paperback version and really wanted to have a look at this one for I want to build a 3d model of the frigate.
