Venetian Bucentaur?

There was more than one Bucintoro because they were rebuilt after some decades. Best detailed plans of last Bucintoro (the one dismantled by Napoleone Bonaparte at the conquest of Venice) from Gilberto Penzo of Venice, a master modeller and Venetian traditional ship writer, designer, restorer see his site:

Bonaparte dismantled the ship to recover the gold from the goldfoiled sculptures. All the upper wood structure were burnt to save the gold. The cutted off hull survived some year used as a prison.

During the dismantling some volunteer boatmaster measured the ship in order to built a model that is still in Venetian Ships Museum, see the photos on his site. In 2004 was made a Foundation in order to rubuild this ship in full size, some parts were built, then the silence.
Technically the hull was a true Galea or Transport Galea.
