Viking ship ‘Oseberg’ version 3. Production "Ships of Pavel Nikitin"

I’m now at Step 6. Building this model has been a very pleasant experience. Very well designed and engineered kit. There is no text in the instructions, just drawings, so you need to view the videos to make things clear and avoid mistakes(although I already made one or two small ones).

Viking ship ‘Oseberg’ - version 3. Painting timbers.

Pavel, what color and brand of paint are you using for the deck beams? It’s not quite clear from the video #10. Do you use the same paint for the hull and the deck planks? I’m just on the 6th layer of planking, so I have a while to go before I paint, but I want to be prepared.
Thanks

I use #913 paint to paint the beams and #906 for the deck itself. This way you can get contrast between the different parts of the ship....
