Hi One & All
This is my take on the Deans Marine kit Wacht am Rhein (https://www.deansmarine.co.uk)
First a bit of history on the real ship, she was built around late 1800s by the Peter Boele shipyard, she is coal fired and was used on the river Rhein, today in 1987 she was handed over to the Prins Hendrick Maritime Museum in Dordrecht were she is a working ship.
The model is 1.53 scale, 955mm in length with a beam of 180mm,
The total time of build was some 18 months, but I have had the kit for some 24 years as I was keeping her for a rainy day.
