Some more sanding and filling on the hull. and now I can start fitting the the beams for the bridge deck. I am trying to figure out out to make a gage pins for the mast so the holes line up before I close the gun deck for good.just the size are add metric sizes hard to get dowel that size.

Good morning Rolf.
Wow that planking finished off beautifully. Lovely progress. Cheers Grant

Just after I glued the gun carriage and the beams for the next floor I tried to figure out where to drill the holes for the ropes for the Anker I noticed the two front canon openings are to small and to far to the Center leaving not enough room for the Hawse hole protector.

The drawing has the wrong location, and the wrong size. I decided to move the canon ports.

And I just start to look how a darken the riggten and anger ropes, any advice? I have never done this, I di read Not to use coffee or tea since it deteriorate the ropes over time.
I need to blacken the ropes for the Anker since most of them will be hidden once I install the next deck level. I guess next i continue with a few more planks going up.

Well Summer is over and Camper is stored away and back to my mancave and work on my ship. I use fabric dye to blacken the robes. and glue everything in place on the gundeck.

I made 3 dowel the size of the mast, so i can check the alignment of the decks. I glue the upper deck.
i dry fit the wall for the upper deck and the beams.

I am starting the repeat work on the upper gun deck, after dry fitting all the pieces and painted the inside red , rounded the beams and painted them.
And glued them in place, I have not glued the beams in place yet, to make finish work on the deck easier.

I spend a lot of time doing research on how the planking looks around the forecastle Bulkhead. The drawing in this area are very pure. I thought the planks end at the bulkhead, but I found a picture showing the build with what area finished and the planking go past to create the Beakhead extension. If some know where I could find a complete build blog I would appreciate it very much being use work with tool drawing I find some of the details lacking.

I fitted my first gun port lids.

Next I build the re enforcing frames around the gun ports and fit them and glue them in place.
