Waterline for HMS Beagle

Started Beagle about eight months ago. Finished both layers of planking, the deck and railing (minus the poop). I decided to copper the hull but had to figure out the waterline for the coppering based mostly on photos of the full sized Beagle replica, nothing in the plans regarding where the waterline should be

Now that I finished the coppering it just doesn't look right to me. I've coppered three other ships and to my eyes this time looks....off somehow.

Yup, thought so. It'll take some thinking but I believe I can remove the dressing belt from about mid-ship and redo it.
