I'm stuck between the horns of a dilemma. What to build next. I am almost done with the Victorian coach I'm building so now comes the decision. I have a decent stash to pick from. Going thru the stash I have, Mantua: Sovereign of the Seas, Mantua-Panart: Royal Caroline, Mantua/Sergal: Soleil Royale: Mantua/Sergal: HMS Victory. I also have a Pocher Rolls Royce Classic from 1974.The last couple are Model Expo wagon. I've got the stage coach, Medicine wagon, Chuck wagon, and the Jail wagon. I'm 70 now. doubt I'll live long enough th build them all. Any suggestions.

Hey AllenKP69. The only ship model was the Bounty. The pictures are in her somewhere. But being a retired Tool and die maker I know I can pretty well build anything anything I put my mind into. There are pictures under Static Models of other things I've built from plans and pictures. Also a couple of kits.

Going from Bounty to kits of huge ships will be a challenge. Royal Caroline might be the best choice for now, but, your kits, your decision. Good luck with whatever you decide!

Thank you gentlemen for your input. All will be taken under consideration.

I would take the Soleil Royal - and look at Mark's Heller build to.pimp her up! You could build her also as a hull model without rigg.

You know Chris I've actually given thought to skipping the RIGGING cause 3 of those models are huge. they take up a lot of space.

Want a challenge? There is still a quite complete looking vintage Steingraeber 'La Flore' around on Ebay in the US. Warning: very little in the way of instructions, not the best woods and not particularly true to the original model in the Paris Musée de la Marine. The good news: the kit has been for sale for quite a while (for price haggling) and the AAMM has a decent monograph about her. I have the same kit in my stash; possibly my next build. It's a kit more for model builders rather than kit assemblers.
