Which side out

Hi All -

So is it my imagination or is there some kind of tradition that has most model ships displayed with the starboard side out.
. . . or maybe I haven't been paying close attention.
Personally I was thinking of showing the side with the least amount of screw-ups . . .

That is what I do also since most people will only look at one side even if it the model is in the middle of the room.

Maybe it has something to do with the artistic side of the brain, that side perhaps being more dominant.

I normally display the port side out (just to be different )

That is a beautiful display! Of course I will have to display the copper hull, and I must have a glass cover over it - it would be covered with dust and dog hair in very short order.
The cover for the CS looks like 46x28x16. Huge. Certainly won't fit on the mantle. Probably going to have to build a table for it.
