Hello Granpa. If you are using a Windows family PC (Windows 10) it has a built-in photo editing tool (photos). With this tool, you can do basic editing like crop and rotate. Just click Edit and Create.
If you don't have this tool. You can do simple editing with the on-line program (free). Check it out, and I hope this will help.
