Wow - it is looking like a huge work to remove the positive form out of the hull.
Very interesting way of getting the frames free.
One question to the wales:
Is this a metal protection of the wales (with the dolphins) ?

Es muss nicht immer im höchsten Barock- oder Rokoko-Stil sein, es kann auch ein Schiff sein, wo ich als Schiffsschmied als letztes daran vor zwei Jahren gearbeitet habe. Dieses Schiff stelle ich als Modell her. Der Name vom Schiff lautet "Schwaben" und gehört dem Bodensee Schiffsbetrieben und steht dort unter Denkmalschutz. Dieses Original stammt aus dem Jahr 1936. Aus Stapel gelaufen und aus Nostalgie und Erinnerungen und dem letzten Werk. The schiffsrumpf is from Lindenholz built, all other Aufbauten like the example rehling, schanzkleid and other items are from aluminium. Nach drei Monaten ununterbrochener Arbeit ist mit etwas Grundierung und Farbe die "Schwaben" fertig gestellt. Und jetzt geht die Arbeit an der Jacht Harlingen weiter .... Fotos folgen.

Mein Besuch im schönsten Marinemuseum in Istanbul, wo ich mich auf mein neues Modell vorbereite. Beginn wird wahrscheinlich in zwei Jahren sein.
