Rob, your avatar is a portrait of Donald McKay.
I painted a portrait of him based on one of his old copper print photo portraits. It's floating around here somewhere on one of these threads.

Indeed, one of the most prolific clipper builders in history.
I have built, and am building, 3 of his designs. Currently building the Donald McKay....have built the Great Republic and his last masterpiece, Glory of the Seas,( which I have visited her resting place and acquired some artifacts). I also have some timber from the ill fated Lightning.

I'd like to see that portrait.
