Is this your first kit and/or your first build? There are better choices for a first build to learn basic skills and proper construction techniques if you don't mind setting this one aside for a little while. :)

Yes it's my first kit and first build. But I have a1/50 scale Polaris starter pack on the way so if I can make that learn from that one all the basics I'll have a bit more knowledge to start on the Black Pearl
 
Welcome! I built the ZHL Black Pearl all scenrio version a couple years ago. I had immense fun building it. The quality of materials was the best I have ever seen.
It's pretty complicated and wouldn't recommend it for a first build either.

Captin J here. Welcome. I have a build log going on the black Pearl. I have been tagging along with Tony who also has a complete build log. Tony if you read this. Hello and now that I am knee deep, I have that much more respect for your build and talent. Well done sir.
 
Hi Anthony53. First of all I am glad to see you on this very knowledge and pleasant forum. Another good think you are going to build the same model as me. I only not sure which kit you are get. I am building from ZHL. I see you are going follow me, so may be you will find something helpful for you, and I am sure I will find somethin helpful for me. Good luck
