ZHL Le Soleil Royal

Welp, I received the Soleil Royal from ZHL today. It took 8 days from shipping date, pretty good I think. Thought I would go ahead and start a build log and show the packaging. Still need to do an inventory of the parts. Won’t start working on it till I finish the Black Pearl though.
Hallo @Jay
we wish you all the BEST and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY
Birthday-Cake

Any more work done on the Soleil, Jay?
Hey Vic,
As a matter of fact I have done a little bit of work on the SR. Not enough to really post any progress on. I’m in the process of making a move back to Colorado so it’s packed away and will probably be in storage for awhile. I recently took the Black Pearl to my daughters and amazingly it made the 1500 miles unscathed. I had also started another ship to put on my mantle under this picture but now it is packed awaiting a move. IMG_1937.jpegIMG_1946.jpeg

I have a Robert E Lee on the shelf. Looks like it’s going to be there for awhile. When I brought my Pearl to Omaha, the mast got banged up. So I didn’t have the masts a rigging done on the SR. I finished it in Omaha because I had two months to work on it here. I’m in Omaha visiting my kids now, so no ship building at the moment. Looking forward to your next posts.

Good morning Jay. Good luck with your move to Colorado although I don’t envy you with those cold winters….well for me anyway:D. I am a fan of those old river paddle ships and will look awesome on that self. Cheers Grant

Thanks Grant, the downside is that it might be months before I can work on it and the SR.
