So got the kit from Model Expo couple days ago. Very impressed by the whole package and seems a bargain at the price. I've only just started the Dory so no pics yet. This is very fine/technical work, I'm glad I started easy. Have watched a build log and also read a build log here. The instructions are a bit confusing but nothing I haven't been able to figure out.
One tip, in building the pieces where you overlay the parts on the schematics in the work book, I took a note from my RC plane model building days in the 1970s and put wax paper over the page so the glue doesn't stick to the page. I need to get a saw and also perhaps some chisel blades. I was quite please the kit came with already made sanding sticks in various grits.
I'm too lazy to take lots of pics but will post a few as I go, I'll make this my thread for the first three builds.
Had posted the link to the kit from model expo, I note the price fluctuates, I got the set at $119. https://modelexpo-online.com/Model-...-Series-with-Tools-Glue-and-Paint_p_5290.html
