New long-term project: Building HMS Ramillies in het 1917 dazzle appearance. 1:500 scale scratch build in metal from plans with added PE. Started with the wooden decks, the gun turret barbettes, and now working on armour belt of the secondary guns. Building in brass on wooden plank-on-bulkhead frame (to be made after the decks are finished for exact size) totally new technique.

Very interesting, and a great start. I will look forward to watch your progress. All the best Jack.

Thank youm Jack! it's an interesting build so far; new techniques and materials. I'll keep progess updated. But it's a slow (learning) process ;)

Very interesting project - especially because of the "miniature"-scale -

The decks are mounted with the fore secundary gun turrets and armour belt. First portholes made, an interesting eperience in 1:500 ;) Nice PE parts by White Ensign Models. The first part of the dazzle camouflage also painted. Started on the plank-on-bulkhead frame for the hull as a support for the metal plating.
