Might as well put out a starting message for this build too. I received a notification that my sailing pram model kit has finally arrived to my home, and i will get to this build too in february.
Super excited to get to build yet another moretheless classical Norwegian boat for my shelf, and also let you follow the process along!

It is here! and it arrived in a super pretty box!

Which contained a bunch of ship-shaped wood. very beautifully lasercut.IMG_20210203_200643.jpg

and a small sortiment of metalware, some string in different gauges and a bag of sailcloth. the strings will go into my wares box, i'll use less glossy, more scale ropes in mine.

The manual. Superb. Very detailed building instructions with clear photos. very impressive!

So let's commence the build stage soon!

Last plank to go to the other side! as you can see, i had to cut down the building jig to make room for clamping. i thought originally to leave this one too in natural wooden finish, but after looking at a lot of photos of these boats, i'm not sure about that anymore, i might as well paint the hull this time.

Hull is now painted on the outside, and i built and attached the daggerboard. i got a little carried away with the work, and forgot to take progress photos again. Maybe this week i'll have her nearly finished, if all goes well.

Looks nice. Looking forward to seeing the rest of the build.

Sorry to have been absent and have you all waiting again, our spring season at work started and i have been (and still am) very busy at work. I will try to get my builds forward, but they will take some more time.
