So far it looks good.
The wood is amazing, really nice quality,
I bought it 8 december but the factory had some problems to get 1 kind of wood for this ship.
Now i think it is the walnut, because it still smells and i would almost say it isn't 100% dry.
But it is possible its cold and it feels wet

All ornaments are iron and the normal cannons are messing,
but only the big cannons are plastic. think so far its the only cheap part in the whole box

I didn't look so far yet
I made picture off them but they aren't very good.
they also are random. didn't put them on number
I am sorry i can't say it hey are on scale and about the random

It sure is. I can't remember a kit from another brand with this quality of parts and wood that i have got my hands on before.
But Uwek do you have a building log of the part you already built? Because you said partly started. Im very interested actually.
I think i have some time this weekend to make a start on this vessel. And will start a building log of this model.

I have build the first planking of the hull with sanding - but stopped
and I did this appr. 15 years ago - no photos existing

This weekend I started building a part of the model and took some pictures so that I could start a blog here.
Unfortunately I had to sent an email to the supplier today as I immediately found out that I am missing 3 pieces of wood.

I'm missing all 3mm plywood.
I'm missing a piece of 3mm walnut
and I'm missing all the4mm walnut.
The piece of plywood contains exactly the parts that I need to be able to finish the frames.
So unfortunately the blog will have to wait for this to be resolved.
Also i had to stop building right now.

Hopefully there will be a solution soon....
Gladly the video's of kevink are a good help and im glad he shared it...thanks again for it

this is where it ends for now, when i can go on building i will make a buildingblog
