This is a nice kit and great price, I love the fact you can build part of with open frame structure visible as show in photo of model.

I think the kit is half Plank on Bulkhead and Half Plank on Frame and many options to final build.

Just waiting for clear spot in the workbench to start mine in the future.

Thanks for your message. Emma C. Berry is a very nice Model Shipways kit, but I've simply got too many other kits to build, and I am in the process of doing the rigging on the Willie L. Bennett Skipjack kit from Model Shipways. Behind that is the Billing kit of the USS Hoga YT-146 tugboat of Pearl Harbor fame, and then a Chinese junk kit. And I see that you have a Midwest Products Skipjack on your bench too. My primary modeling interest involves Workboats of the Chesapeake Bay, as I used to live in St. Michaels, MD. And then there are the 60+ year old memories of my days in the U. S. Navy, which included liberty in Pearl Harbor and as Far East as Hong Kong. Thus the interest in the USS Hoga and Chinese junks.
I'll be posting some pictures of my Skipjack effort as soon as it is ready.

Great looking build, and nice touch with the sand on the base to replicate being up on shore for repairs.
