Glad to be here. I have built lots of models in plastic, but finding wood is more organic and more alive. I am looking for sailing ship plans for 1/48 to 1/96 scale sailing ships. Lots of nice work here and experience.
 
I would also like to warmly welcome you to the forum and have fun.
 
Welcome. IMHO. A bit of advice if you are new to wood modeling. Stick with either Occre or Artisania Latinia model ships. They have the best instructions and customer service. Do not get Corel models at this stage of your experience. Corel has excellent materials, great models but absolutely horrible instructions. Corel has very nice products but is for very experienced modelers.
