As opposed to CA they will harden only if exposed to UV light. I find them very valuable when working with small PE parts. You put a drop where you want and if you like it you can set it instantly. I have not tried it yet but I believe it will be invaluable for use on rigging.

If you use the fly fishing UV head cements, read the reviews and choose a good one. Some of the cements out there remain tacky even after curing.
