Even though the model is securely packed for our pending move to Wisconsin, I am thinking about window materials for the boat. Lately I have seen some discussion about Mica, but I don't know how well it compares to the real glass that would be on the the real lobster boats. Please advise.
Happy Modeling.

I bought some 1mm sheets of lexan on amazon. Cheap. Used it for the windows of the launch i built. Shatters easily when cutting with a saw. Score and break works fine

Acetate report covers. Commonly come in 5, 7, and 10 mil thicknesses. Salvage them from discarded reports.

Thanks to all for the kind suggestions.
I hope to soon get busy on the Donald David. Still have a few things to sort out in the new shop. I will try to send some shop photos soon.
Happy Modeling,
Steven
