Has anyone found a supplier of quality cleats? I've been buying mine from a company in Australia, very nice cleats, however the shipping costs are sometimes three times the cost of the cleats themselves. The other problem, due to shipping distance and customs is that delivery time is long.

I live in Australia but buy much of my extra supplies from Cornwall model boats in the UK.
Great range, great service, great prices and reasonable postage costs.

Here are their cleats, plenty to choose from

Cleats.

Best quality of cleats for installation on shrouts or on a bulkhead, either in boxwood or pearwood available are from @Dry-Dock Models & Parts

Hi Marty
What ship/year/lines is this regarding? Cleats on shrouds versus cleats on bulwarks or decks or masts and line size make a difference regarding shape and size. Syren Ship Models has two shroud cleat sizes and a half dozen deck/bulwark/mast cleat sizes that might work well for you. They are from New Jersey so shipping is probably not a deal breaker and there is no import duty. Click here on https://syrenshipmodelcompany.com/laser-cut-ship-model-fittings.php then scroll down a ways to where there are the cleats.
