Now THAT is a spread of kilometers/milesWhile waiting for your shipment, as you are a Victory fan, if you have not already seen this, you might enjoy the log written just before, during, and after Trafalgar which is posted here at SoS. https://shipsofscale.com/sosforums/threads/the-battle-of-trafalgar-original-ships-log.15676/ I am going to be posting letters from Admiral Collingwood to the Admiralty regarding Nelson and the battle as well.

Hi GilbertThanks Allan, I'll definitely watch this video
Bon jour, Gilbert, I recommend Cornwall Model Boats for the best price. By paying £10 for membership of CMB club, you get extra 5% discount on all orders. They're out of stock at present, but no doubt they'll be getting more soon. They'll probably order for you. Present listed price is £980, Club price, which I paid, is £931.I would like to purchase Caldercraft HMS Victory Kit.

Je vous en prie, Gilbert. Thanks Stuart
Let me see this option as well.
I am going to be traveling in a few weeks and would hate to have the box wait for me outside of my house.
So I'll probably place an order in early Jan.
Cheers
Thanks PeterHi Gilbert,
There are a number of excellent build logs on this and other forums for the Caldercraft Victory. It is a wonderful kit and will provide many months (years??) of building pleasure. I am currently coppering my build (but have had a period away with work and travel) so progress is slow, but feel free to read my log.
A couple of the background books on the Victory are a good investment and the book by Keith Julier (The New Period Ship Handbook), is especially useful as it deals with this kit.
It is not a cheap kit, but when you are building you will see the quality of the materials and manuals. I have found excellent support from Jotika too, and I am in Australia!! Good luck and I am sure you will enjoy this build.
Regards,
PeterG
Thanks AllanBonjour Gilbert
If you do not already have a copy, seriously consider getting a copy (used copies are usually available) of Longridge's The Anatomy of Nelson's Ships. He provides a lot of details for building a model of Victory that could be of help to you.
