Hello from Ukraine!
Before 22 year I had a little small workshop where I did what I loved - ship modeling. There were a lot of tools, but what was most valuable were old Soviet drawings of many ships. Unfortunately, russian missile destroyed my home and workshop. Now I want to return to my hobby, I have already acquired a tool, but I have a problem with the drawings. I would be extremely grateful for a detailed theoretical drawing of any US cruiser from the Second World War.

I just received a warning from my virus protection advising not to download from that site.

Along with many, many of my fellow Americans, I feel for what is happening to you and your country and hope for return to peace and freedom in the New Year.

Due to cost and difficulty with overseas shipments, it occurs to me that you may want drawings that you can receive online. Look up: History.Naval.mil. This is the US Navy’s history site. Type in “Booklet of General Plans” on their search function. You will find a long list of drawings for various US Navy ships. I don’t know if a WWII cruiser is included.

The Booklet of General Plans was intended to be used by the crews of their respective ships. They include detailed official plans of different decks plus profile views and possibly some sections. Unfortunately they do not include a lines drawing for the vessel’s hull. Using them, however, you should be able to build an accurate waterline model.

the link i posted above does include those US Navy Booklet of General Plans & i think some might have the sheer & body plans.

Thank you, friends. I'll try to find my first project among these resources.
