Hello,
Hope you all are doing well, I paused my ship building for some time due to wanting to prepare better. I found that Occre blocks and deadeyes are quite below what I was expecting, so I started searching for better ones. Of course I found some but they were pretty expensive for my liking. Then I had an idea. Since I do print and sell my prints, why not make some of them? I figured first problem will be the colors, I will not bother painting then after printing so I needed to paint my resin, that way I would not need to paint and when I remove the prints from the supports, I will have the same color, so this is my progress so far, made some 3d models and went to test print
What's the best thing about 3D is that I can make them whatever size I want then I ordered some colorants for my resin and I had to get new resin that was white (to better takes the colors) this was a hit and miss, because printing something so small and wanting to use as less supports as possible requires different resin, but for now it will do.
First color test:

Look ok, had some failures due to the resin but overall I am quite happy.
Also anyone in Europe (I think US Shipping will be too expensive) wanting to give them a try write me a message, I will only ask to pay shipping untill I finish the testing, otherwise for now it will be free.
New color test in progress
