has anyone have a build log of Amati bedford whaleboat. I am having a problem tapering the inner planking. The insrrtructions are not very clear. It just says fit the planks ensuring right tapering but there are no sketches in the instructions

There is a multi part build log of this kit on YouTube. The poster is named “Tagliamare”. Looks like you may have found it as I saw your post on MSW.
 
I had a look at Taglameris build log but he doesnt show how he did the inner planks. There is a video oof him sanding the ends of the strips but not hoe he tapered them. I cant find any other logs of the Amati kit.
 
another problem I am having is the plan shows 7x5mm wide strips each side but this only comes from the keel and slightly up the side of the ribs.
