EFIM NIKONOV 1721 kit Modified: INTERIOR VIEW [COMPLETED BUILD]

Go

Good evening Daniel. Fabulous detailing. As for your Video….hmmmm ROTF . Cheers Grant

Well, the video isn't a masterpiece, but shows the sub armament and how it works. ...... or at least that is what I think ...HAHAHA.

Now watch the next posting...

Hi guys

The rudder and tiller:

Based on the kit designer's the rudder have 2 tillers, if that is the way to call the system that moves the rudder on this sub. See image from my previous built.

The museum sub has only 1 of those tillers. See image below and drawing.

Then I decided to follow the museum built. And did this :

I need to build the display. One though was to place my first model together with this new open sub model. Unfortunately Wife didn't like it. She said that looks too bulky and details are lost. The below pictures are both models together. The link to my first built is pasted on my first posting of this thread.

Ok... now I need to find a wood base for this model.

In the meantime enjoy these images.

Lovely to see them together, Daniel. Which one do you like better and why?
Hi Paul, sorry for my delayed answer. I like more the open sub concept. Because it is something in have developed by myself, following a couple of images, and because I applied more effort on details to make the sub as the museum sub.

This is a small project, but brought me a lot of satisfaction. Both model constructions. But definitely my heart and effort to details is on this open sub.

Cheers
