On hold indefinitely.My son has a cancer growing under his right eye and into his sinus. This is added to hie midbrain tumor. We hear from the tumor board Tuesday on the nexy steps.Probably surgery. The hospital is 200 miles away. Holw much of him survives is only guessing. A widoer I rely on ship moxdeling, carzy as that sounds, to help keep me grounded. I did, however, order a Charles W Morgan from Model Shipways as Herman Melville(Moby Dick) has been a favorite since I was 14 in 1964.

THANX. This is a situation which can isolate a person from just about everyone. Tuesday the tumor board willgie us options-chemo, drugs or surgery. Sorting and organizing parts give me a feeling I am in controlof something.
 
I am praying that God's hand touches your son to restore his health and for you that God's mercy and grace bless you with strength and courage to take care of your son on this journey. I, too, am a caregiver for my wife. I pray every night for my wife's comfort and that I may meet her needs every day.
Take care of yourself... your son needs you.

AGREE! This surgery, the one for the tumor under his right eye, is another step. One thing I know and that is being a caregiver is an isolating task filling every hpur of every day. Sometimes the desire for relief csn be almost overpowering. But God does not give us anything we can't handle - by focusing on his Holy Word.

The first step is the Biopsy of the tumor under his right eye and some fiull body scans to chdeck for any tumors besides the ones in his head. The oxycodone helps with the pain. On the bright side Charles W Morgan arrived. When I have a couple minutes I look at the pieces and parts.
 
So sorry for these challenges facing your son and yourself.
When I was having a bit of issues from time to time, before Jun 2017 I'd get up and go downstairs to my archery range and shoot a handful of arrows. That put me at ease again. Your boats are your bows.
 
All my hopes and wishes for a great recovery. Please don’t forget to give yourself some time to rest. It’s hard, but your wellbeing is needed for both of you.

THANX! Its Monday Mofrning and wer'e off to the hospital(3.5 hr drive) for the biopsy and CT scans. They'll tell us swhat comes next. At worst, if they can do surgery they take the tumor and his right eye.
