The arm is too flexible side to side. Impossible to follow the marked line with the cut.
I have that one on my list too. I think it is a dangerous tool.My most disappointing tool ( which I gave up using) was the nail pusher thing that either bent the nail or caused me to push the thing right through the pieces I was trying to fasten. Now perhaps it's my eye hand coordination that causes all the problem, but I went back to holding my tiny spike with a hemostat and driving it home with a small hammer.
You two have me curios now. I have a Dremel scroll saw I haven't used much yet, I'm going to have to get it out and see if it's any good.
it works great if you pre-drill the holes. My most disappointing tool ( which I gave up using) was the nail pusher thing that either bent the nail or caused me to push the thing right through the pieces I was trying to fasten. It is admittedly very limited in what I can use it for, but I got it for the equivalent of $10 at a second-hand store so I’d say I got my money’s worthexactly you cannot control the cut it would wonder all over the place
I hope your neighbor was neighborly enough to make good.I had a nice Dremel scroll saw on stand, so it was at waste height, worked will up to about 1/4 inch hobby woods, and lost it when my storage building got caught up in grass fire last year in the spring. Neighbor let burn pit get out of control, one issue living in rural country. Lost my 10" Craftsman table saw and Ryobi 10" compound sliding saw along with lots of small tools, slowed down a lot of my home and craft projects.
Totally agree with this statement! That’s why I switched to surgical scalpels and blades with the added bonus of them not rolling of the workbench.now the exacto type knives..can't keep the blades tight
I suggest you to look at this post. I fixed this this saw this way and have no more problems with it. Which type of blades you use and for what purpose is also an issue with any mini table saw including Byrnes.Unfortunately the worst tool I have bought was also one of the more expensive. The Proxxon FET saw which is billed as a precision table saw is a complete waste of money (IMHO).

How I fixed the ripping fence of Proxxon FET table saw
Since I purchased this saw I immediately noticed a huge problem with a ripping fence. This saw is sold with notion that it has a micrometer adjustment for a distance between the cutting blade and the ripping fence. It appeared to be a non functional feature in the saw I got.shipsofscale.com
I sold mine since couple of years. Good for Balsa. I purchased a Wen scroll saw instead, but I not use it very often.i gave one of these and i agree it is total junk
No, they wouldn't answer any info, family didn't cover anything, my house insurance covered some but at about 1/3 value of what I could find, lots of stuff was priceless memorabilia, but no replacement price for it.I hope your neighbor was neighborly enough to make good.
Thanks..I'll check it out.Manning, there is a a hobby knife handle I bought and fell in love with, it's this one by Fiskars. It's about the best one I ever used.
