My new toys/tools

Gets some time under your belt with them and please give us an update. Cheers.

I think these things are 'GREAT'! I'll be mounting mine to wood or MDF bases to keep them from scooting all over the place and to add more weight to the chopper so it doesn't come off of the table when the arm is raised up. I'm quite happy with these tools!

I just clamped it down with two clamps, seems to be working well

I don't like clamping because it anchors the tools down. I like to use them, move them out of the way then drag 'em back for use again as needed. :)
LOL The clamps are temporary. Just take them off and you can move it. :)
I use a different method for "small" tools. I put them on a wood base and put dog holes in it that match the pattern of the holes in my bench and then have clamps that go through the dog holes. That way, nothing is sticking up above the wood mounting base.

I know the clamps are temporary. I don't want to mess with them. I want to be able to quickly slide my tools back and forth the same way 'I' slide back and forth on my rolling work stool. Don't want clamps for my stool either! ;)

No clamp... but I did add a small base to improve stability, so it does not rock to one side or the other. Working great! Hold in place with double-sided tape. I do use the repeater all the time... it's very precise and reproducible.

That's my plan 'EXACTLY'! I'll be using thicker wood though, extra weight, but 'you've' got the idea! :)

I wish the grinder would have a motor attached to it.
Hi Y.T.

In some ways I agree with you. For the cost it should have a motor.

But I find the fact that it doesn't have a motor its most appealing feature. It can be used in a far more precise way than a powered sanding disc. I happen to love mine!
