This is a 1:25 scale kit model representing a small fishing boat typical of Italy. This was quite challenging to build, for me. I made a mess of the planking and it has to be rescued with loads of filler and sanding. I have never mounted a sail before and even though there was just the one, my shaky fingers seemed to get in the way. I found the instructions very poor and thank goodness there were decent 1:1 drawings to guide me. Despite this and the many blemishes, I am still satisfied with the outcome. I added a few of my own flourishes including a box of fish, and an anchor, made from a block of "cement".
