One of the old (pre-1994) SA Navy's Daphne class submarines was recently restored by some members of the local Naval Heritage Society. It is now open to the public as a museum and had quite a few visitors up to now. Pre-1994 she was known as the Johanna van der Merwe. She was one of the more active submarines in our maritime history and undertook quite a number of missions along the coast of southern Africa. Where I am going with this? - reading about her again (or rather the museum) reminded me of my own subs that I have built over the last few years. Well since 2021. I still have a stronger interest in the subs than in their surface colleagues. I think I saw too many old black and white movies with submarines in the leading or supportive roles on Saturday nights many moons ago. So here are a few pictures of my buids. You may recognise an Astute class, Typhoon, Akula and the Redoubtable.

These look to be extremely well done. I looked but cannot find any build log. If you have not done one, it would be great if you could show how you fabricate these in a build log.
Thank you Ettienne
