There is a part in the skeleton assembly I can't put a finger on as to where it goes. The plans are not very good to begin with!

Is this just a comment on the quality of the kit plans or are you asking for help on where the part goes? If you are asking for where the part goes can you post some photos?

Allan, do you access to parts list for the Mantua 1:50 Santa Maria. I figured out the part I wasn't sure of but now I am confused with the covering of the hull!
 
I have no list, but curious as to what it is you are referring to. Photos or drawings might make it easier to find an answer from one of the members.
