Humor - we need so much to laugh

The bartender finally says that the bar is closed. So Paddy stands up to leave and falls flat on his face. He figures he'll crawl outside and get some fresh air and maybe that will sober him up.

Once outside he stands up but again falls flat on his face. He crawls home. Reaching the door he tries to stand up, and yet again, falls flat on his face. He crawls through the door and up the stairs. When he reaches his bed he summons the last of his strength and tries one final time to stand.

It's no use. He tumbles into bed and is soon sound asleep, only to awaken the next morning to the sound of his wife standing over him shouting.

'So... you've been out drinking again!'

'How did you know?' he asks, his head hung in shame.

'The pub called-- you left your damn wheelchair down there again!'

You started my day with a smile Murph. The flag shows you in Ireland, but are you actually there or have an Irish VPN? No matter, we LOVE Ireland and look forward to going back again next year. Nicest folks in the world and that is no joke!!

@AllanKP69 Yep, We're in County cork in a little town called Cobh, pronounced "Cove"
We have loads of Americans visiting here, especially in the summer from huge 330 meter
long cruise liners that dock actually at a deep water quay right there in town.
If your in our patch next year please feel free to pop in for a cuppa, ye would be made
most welcome. This is the view thru our front bay window

Not the type of scenery one normally associates with the Emerald Isles. Very Nice!

Murph,
We were in Cobh for a couple days. My wife's maternal grandmother and her family were from County Cork (family name Barry) We loved everything about Ireland that we saw. Started in Adare, then Killarney and worked around to Cork, Waterford and finally ended the trip in Dublin. We cannot wait to go back. She bought me a gift to attach to my golf cart in a little shop while we were in Killarney. (second photo) Would love to hook up for a cuppa but this next trip is a cruise and I'm not sure it stops in Cobh as do a lot of cruise ships (like the Titanic did). Closest we get, unless they change the itinerary is Waterford. If it does get to Cobh I will reach out to you 100% for sure.

@AllanKP69 Ha, that's us Thumbs-Up Cruise Liners moor up right behind The Heritage Centre
we live about 250 metres down the road, the itinerary usually states "Cork" as the stopping
point but it is Cobh where they tie up and then there's coaches to take you into the city centre
about 20km away, here's a pic of our town centre

True story -

The Admiral and I went for dinner a while back at a local restaurant called The Antique Inn. When we walked in, she nudged up close and said, "I see why they call it it The Antique Inn - everyone in here is old!" After a pause, we looked at one another and quietly sat down at a table.
