I am building an OcCre Endeavour, which for a first timer is quite a challenge. I have reached the stage where I am installing the masts, and one of the spars (?) called up is M114, which has a small spherical top, and a pulley block (?) at one end and it's about 13cm long. I have combed the assembly instructions thoroughly, but I simply cannot find where it is supposed to fit. Any help would be highly appreciated. Cheers

Is that the flag staff that goes at the very stern (the back) of the ship?

Hi Jeff, you are quite right. I was misled by a colour photo (231) which showed the fitting of the flag mast step, with the flag mast fitted. I presumed that I had to fabricate the flag mast at that point, which I did. I was further puzzled when the detail of the flag mast was shown in the mizzen mast assembly page, with no explanation or ID, and I assumed that it was part of the mizzen mast.
