I have these absolutely awful kits by Model Shipways and I just want to get rid of them. They are 1:16 scale and made from some totally awful diecast metal.

If you have that urge to build something out of an absolutely awful pile of parts, have I got the thing for you!

I want $20 USD, plus shipping, for these two kits, but the price is totally negotiable. I would prefer not to dump them unceremoniously in the recycling bin.

I am sorry that you have lost your sense of humour with these kits, however, I can't help as I am currently building a Mamoli kit and am in daily contact with my therapist.

I have the full line of Civil War and other cannons, and I agree they are a POS when it comes to castings and instructions.

I hope to be able to rework them into a half way resemblence of what they are supposed to represent.

I think these would make great subjects for 3D printed models. If anyone would like me to draw something up for them, and even make up the parts, I would be ready to do that.

These kits have to go.

lost your sense of humour with these kits
Indeed, I saw the humour when I first opened them up, but there's only so much fun one can have. Being on Pocher kit #17, there are still some pathetic kits that do make me laugh. These went from laughing to crying, to a nervous sort of laughter, especially when holding a large hammer over them.

Unfortunately these 1:16 scale artillery models cannot be paired with available miniature military modeling figures. As the most common size is 54mm or 1:32 scale.

really selling them
LOL! if the bar is low enough, whatever you get will be better! Always under promise and over deliver. I have sold thousands of Pocher models in my life (if you know, you know), and have always told prospective clients that, "not a single part fits. If you think a part fit right the first time, you did it wrong".

Hahah well it was my birthday yesterday and ali guess I'm a bit of a masochist. What does shipping look like to L7K1P3?

Happy Birthday!

I would be happy to get $60 CDN for the kits and the shipping.

But I did quote a price, above, to a fellow in California. We will have to wait to see if he accepts, as he asked before you did.

Let me know if the price works for you, but we do need to give him a chance to respond. After all, it is only 6 in the morning over there.

Regards,

Rick

I'll pass and defer to your fellow countryman.
