I have to agree with Paul, "Just WOW!"

Also, gotta say I love the SawStop. I wish I'd gotten that instead of my Jet. Too late now.

Lastly, thanks for also posting the pix of the case build. It's never too early to start thinking about building one. (It'll give me something to do when I'm stuck on the model itself).

Beautiful display on both counts. Kudos.

Thank you Der Alte. I was among other things a cabinet maker for many years. The case top and sides are Lexan, did build with Cabinet Glass but found it heavy and expensive. Cut Lexan in my shop with a Festool track saw.

Did you give thought to including some kind of an air filtration/ventilation system? I've read that for longevity, this should be part of a case spelled. Thoughts?

Thought is parts are made of Britannia and brass, therefore oxidation may not be a problem. I do have a vintage Model Shipway Sultana cased and some metal parts are oxidizing.

And Topsail Schooner Eagle, doing ok.

There have been a few threads on this subject. Cases should be allowed to "breath" there should be some vents. Some people put holes tin the base with steel wool to prevent critters from entering. I know there are round vents like these
