Le Requin-Zebec-1750 POF 1:48 (ZHL)

Good morning Daniel. What you have done looks stunning. The Le Requin ship is still my favorite of any model and you are doing it justice. It looks like a crazy difficult construction but it the challenges we love. That precut deck looks so close to fitting - pity. Cheers Grant
Thanks Grant, I just remembered the decking between the grates will present a unique challenge when separated for individual placement. Which is why I wanted to keep everything connected in the first place. Once again, I shall have to rethink this.

I decided to momentarily sidetrack from the never-ending bulwark standards and build out an aft bulkhead with windows and door. I actually need this bulkhead as it serves as an endo for the canon gun deck. Here is a build sequence in photos.

Paul @dockattner inspired me to hand make a set of door hinges, (nowhere close to Paul's quality but enjoyed the attempt). The scale is a bit big I think but would not know how to make them any smaller.

For now, the bulkhead is just dry fit in place.

I love the look of the stain finish, most of this ship will be similar in appearance.
Thanks again for stopping by.

Always nice to read that someone is inspired by another member, Daniel. The wall with the door and hinges looks very nice.
Regards, Peter
