Hello I'm Fred from Florida

Hey Fred,
Definitely a great diving spot, although I personally never had any desire to go into a cave. Strictly open water for me. You'll have to let me know next time you're in town
Our dive group does open water dive., I will try to ping next time I go up your way. If you follow the Facebook group - it's dive o'clock somewhere in Central Florida, you will catch when I will be in the area and can ping. You can join us diving if you want. We often go out to lunch after the dive and we could talk model ships...

Hi Fred. Welcome aboard.
Where in Florida are you? I’m in Delray Beach. Unfortunately there are no ship model clubs anywhere on this side of the state (Palm Beach County) but we do have Model Expo down here in Miami. You guys up around Tampa and Naples are fortunate,, you have some clubs over there.

Hi Barry, I am in Ormond Beach. My wife bought a parrotlet from Brenda's Birds in Delray Beach a month or so ago.

I was not aware Model Expo was in Miami, I would have stopped by the weekend we were visiting Fairchild Gardens. I ordered a ship from Model Expo and it arrived in two days! I didn't realize they could be so quick because they are not that far away. If you know of any ship model related places to visit in the West Palm Beach area please let me know as I will be down there in a couple of weeks. We usually visit the Norton Museum and Mounts Botanical Gardens, but it is getting hotter and an alternative to Mounts would be a welcome change.

Hi Fred, the only ship model related places I know of in the Palm Beach county area is my workshop. if you’re in the area of Delray Beach, you’re welcome to stop by for a visit. I am always happy to welcome a ship modeler. It gives me a chance to show off some of the models I’ve made over the last 60 years.

This is not exactly something that pertains strictly to ship modeling, but in Boynton Beach there is a Titanic exhibition.
The title of the exhibition is:
Titanic: An Immersive Voyage.
Check out the web site. Here’s the link to the the site
I haven’t been there, but I do plan on going. I’ve spoken to someone that has seen it and they were very impressed.
Regards
Barry
