Hi Ronald,
Your work stand looks great. I'm going to check it out myself. I have two plastic ships waiting in the wings and that will come in handy. One thing I might suggest would to add some felt on the arms. This would prevent your ship from being scratched after being painted.

Thanks Bill. Yes, it needs some protection. A friend of mine has a laser, he opted to use some small strips of foam he can shoot out of his laser machine.

The stand is sturdy enough. It holes the ship very well so I'm confident it will do its job

Good idea Ronald. The foam would be better than felt. The foam will not only protect the ship, but will help hold it in place.

I use that stand too Ronald. I took some soft foam, cut slits in it and put them over the uprights of the cradle. There are much nicer stands but they are very costly. I like your work space.
