Hello everyone,

First of all, thank you for this wonderful forum, which made it easier for me to get started with modeling.
After thinking for a long time about whether I could overcome the possible difficulties, I ordered 3 models with ascending difficulties from Occre last year
The first model was the Palamos, the second the Aurora and the third the Endurance. The result was a wonderful cascade of mistakes , much swearing and a steep learning curve. But I have completed all the models and I can only estimate a little better what is possible in advanced model building.
I started building the Pegasys last week (because the rigging is so incredibly beautiful) and I just hope to learn from all my past mistakes.

Hello Bernd and welcome aboard. The work on your three ships is beautiful. I am amazed that you built all three ships in a year. Great job. What part of Switzerland do you live in? Switzerland is one of my wife’s and my favorite places to visit.

Hallo Bill;
I live in Reinach, Aargau. It's quite nice here, although nowadays all the available land is being built on.But I don't want to complain.

Welcome to SoS! I hope you find helpful resources, knowledgeable and experienced model builders, and build logs that will keep you busy for some time. I've been eyeing that Palamos tugboat for some time. Maybe next time they run a sale. Your work is great. Looking forward to seeing more of your builds.
